THE LATEST

Dear Brothers and Sisters,
Apologies for no ASA (missions) Newsletter this week. Yours truly covets your prayers as she is overwhelmed by the business of moving after 42 years in the same home. Wow! Talk about possessions owning you.
PAT TEDESCHI, Pastor of Outreach and Discipleship at Greentree Church, EHT, will be the guest on America's Silent Ambassadors this Sunday, June 10, at 1:30 p.m., on station WIBG, 1020AM radio dial.
Pastor Pat gives an excellent report of his recent trip with Eric Huber to ASELSI (John and Sharon Harvey's mission compound in Chichicastenango, Guatemala). Of special interest is Pat's narrative concerning their role in teaching locals to lead and pastor churches, and visiting new churches, and how it became a learning experience for them -- which will be of great help in the future.
Please pray for:
Pastor Manuel Mateo -- friend of the Harvey's in Guatemala, for safety for his family, and that God will protect him from the forces of evil which threaten him at this time.
Mike Clark, who, as you know, runs a home for hundreds of neglected and abused children in Guatemala, has been plagued with armed gunmen. Wrote Mike recently, "It was such a feeling of security to return home today from the bank with two armed men inside and outside the gate. It is costly but there can be no price on the lives of children and staff."
Rebecca Onkar -- that she will enjoy a most pleasant visit from her Dad and niece who flew there from the U.S. last Monday. Also, please pray for their first Graduation of Faith Calvary Theological Seminary, which will be held June 8-10th with the main graduation taking place on Saturday, June 9th.
And please continue to pray for all God's harvesters, who faithfully preach His Word.
Be blessed. Jo
